Buying and Selling at the Show

The following is for your (exhibitor and show attendee) convenience and with consideration to our vendors. Please review all buying and selling best practices.

Rules About Buying & Selling

A bulletin board will be established at the entrance of the 2025 Indiana Model Engine Show containing, but not limited to, "for sale", "for trade" or "wanted" ads for use by the exhibitor in attendance. The show attendee may also use this service.

Rules for this service are as follows:
  • PRICE: There will be a cost of $5 for the ad. Once an item is sold, a new ad may be placed with another $5 fee. Please inform show official of sold ads to be removed

  • HOW TO SELL: You may place 1 ad at a time of "for sale ", "for trade " or "wanted " items. You are allows to pre-print this with pictures , contact information & price. If you post an ad "for sale", you must include an HONEST PRICE). Please keep your ad as brief as possible to allow space for other people's opportunities. ALL TRANSACTIONS MUST TAKE PLACE IN THE PARKING LOT. See an onsite Show Official to use this service.

  • EXHIBITORS: No "for sale" items will be permitted on your exhibitor table and the transaction of exchanging good & money, will take place out side of the show area, such as the parking lot. Exhibitors who place for sale items on their tables will be asked to either remove the item from the indoor venue area or pay the $100 vendor fee.

  • ADS CONTENT: ALL ADS MUST BE MACHINE SHOP RELATED OR MODEL ENGINE RELATED. The official from the Machinist Group of Northeast Indiana, Inc 501C7 reserves the right to not allow any ad for any reason.

  • NO BUSINESSES: No business shall place an ad for the businesses goods or service.

  • SHOW ATTENDEES: Show attendees (i.e. the person who has paid to enter the show) may buy & sell in accordance to the above rules. No exceptions.

This information is subject to change & we, the Show Committee, will do our best to keep this information up to date.

Statements made during the day(s) of the event by the "show committee " shall over rule this language.
